How to play

There are many features in Calm that are free to use straight away. There are many relaxing nature sounds on the home page, and in the mobile version, for example, you can swipe left and right to switch between various scenes of stress-relieving music such as the sound of nature's wind, the sound of firewood, the sound of the universe, and many more.

You can also turn on 'Play Sound outside the app', so that you can turn off your phone or leave the app and still have the stress relief sounds playing in the background.

Calm has a large number of meditation courses, with a number of instructors leading you through a series of sessions, which are popular overseas, but these are all in English.

Among the meditation courses, there is a unique course called 'Breathe', a free exercise tool that takes you through a relaxing breathing exercise with breathing animations on screen.

When you are nervous or anxious, try using this little tool to guide your breathing and calm your mind.

Calm also keeps track of the number of sessions you do during meditation sessions and breathing exercises, which is a good statistical tool for those who want to focus on meditation.

Finally, Calm has a wide range of features such as concentration music and bedtime stories.
