How to play
Join the virtual world of IMVU and have fun socialising with friends or lovers.
First, you need to sign up for an IMVU account. Once you have Joined and opened the app, a page will appear asking you to fill in your registration details and you will either name the character you have designed or fill in your nickname. Once you have filled in all the information, press [Submit registration] to submit. You will then have your own account and will be able to log in with your password the next time you use it.
Once you have registered and logged in, you will be able to customise your character! You can customise your character's face and buy clothes with virtual money.
If you want to meet new people, you can create a room and add friends to interact with them.
In IMVU you can become the host of a live chat room through a hosting subscription. As a host, you will have your own public chat room that can attract millions of users. If you want to have a bigger party and share the fun, you can turn on 'audience mode' and host for thousands of users in the room at the same time. With your subscription, you'll also receive a monthly hosting badge and free credits.
