Description

League of Legends: Battle Canyon is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game in a 3D isometric perspective. Players face off through an average of 15-20 minutes of gameplay per match. In each game mode, teams work together to win by destroying defence towers on each lane and finally destroying the 'crystal' of the enemy's base.

How to play

Unlike the League of Legends computer version of Summoner's Gorge, there is no summoning crystal or elemental gorge mechanic in Summoner's Gorge. In Battle Canyon, there will be two teams of five players each fighting to destroy the enemy's crystals, which are protected by the enemy team and many defence towers[4]. The crystals are located on both sides of the map, in the bottom left and top right corners of the enemy's base. These buildings constantly produce weak non-player characters called minions, who advance towards the enemy base along three troop lanes: the top, middle and bottom lanes. Players push these minions into the enemy base to enable them to destroy the enemy crystal and eventually win the game. Between the troop lines are neutral areas of the map called "wilderness", located in four quadrants. A river divides the map between teams, but does not actually prevent movement. All summoners can walk in it.

Each team will have its own buildings, namely the Defence Tower and the Crystal Hub.

Defence Towers: Each lane has a powerful defence facility called a 'defence tower'. Defence towers deal a high level of damage and attack enemy minions and approaching players. Defence towers attack nearby enemy minions first, but if an enemy player attacks our player, they will attack the enemy player immediately. Therefore, by advancing your own minions into range of the defence tower, the summoner can attack the defence tower without being attacked. When a defence tower is destroyed, it provides gold as well as experience. Towers destroyed during the match are permanently destroyed and will not respawn. Destroying a base tower will cause our crystals to spawn more powerful super minions and provide enhancements to surrounding minions.

Crystal Crystal Hub: Each team has a crystal and can only attack the Crystal Crystal Hub after destroying all defensive towers in the troop line. Crystal Crystal Hubs deal more damage than Defence Towers, deal damage faster and will attack enemy minions and players approaching minions. The game ends when one team's Crystal Hub is destroyed.

There are some units that are neutral, meaning they do not actively attack nearby heroes and are not part of any team. However, if players wish to gain rewards, they can challenge these neutral units located in the wilderness and river lanes. These neutral units include

Wild Monsters: Wild monsters spawn at varying distances in the wilderness and provide gold, experience points and other rewards to players who kill them. They are the most common neutral targets.

Canyon Vanguard: The Canyon Vanguard is located in the Baron Nash pool in the top left of the river. After defeating the Canyon Vanguard, players can pick up the Eye of the Canyon Vanguard and can summon the Canyon Vanguard on their path to assist their team with powerful tower pushing abilities.

Baron Nash: Baron Nash is the most powerful neutral resource located between Baron Nash Road and Middle Road. It will replace the Canyon Vanguard after ten minutes. All currently surviving members of the team that kills Baron Nash will gain a gain effect that will make nearby minions more powerful.

Flying Dragon: The Flying Dragon is the most powerful neutral resource located between the Middle Road and the Flying Dragon Road. The team that kills the dragon gains a gain that lasts for the entire game, depending on the type of dragon. Ancient Elemental Dragons are the most powerful dragons. Killing an Ancient Dragon gives you Ancient Power, which triggers a burning effect when you attack enemy units with skills or attacks, and gives the strongest elemental gain.
