 YouTube

YouTube is an American video sharing website and currently the world's largest video search and sharing platform, allowing users to upload, watch, share and comment on videos. YouTube was originally created to facilitate the sharing of video clips between friends, but has since become a repository of memories and a place for users to post their work. It offers movie channels, video uploads, pay channels, live streaming, translated subtitles and many other services.

Today YouTube videos cover a wide range of content, from personal videos and TV clips to music videos and home videos. For the first time, the original rules were beaten so that content in the Story feature could be replayed within 24 hours. "Story" has three modules to provide users with photo and video-based information and to meet their social needs.

Snapchat Story, where you can take a photo or video and share it with all your friends, with the content arranged by upload time and played continuously without interruption. It allows users to take a photo with their smartphone and then add different filters to the photo and share it on social networking services such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr, or on Instagram's servers.

In August 2016, Instagram launched stories, a short-form social video service, which quickly returned to rapid growth, taking away a large number of Snapchat's users and KOLs, and posing some threat to the latter. Instagram Stories allows users to share important moments of the day with videos and pictures, which disappear after 24 hours. Data shows that Instagram Stories has greatly increased the overall engagement of younger, corporate users.

Today Housparty is ranking more downloads on the App store than Facebook, and capital has taken a huge interest in this new social app. In early 2019, Houseparty partnered with Ellen DeGeneres' app " Heads Up!", which resembles an entertainment venue.
