Description

Tor is the right browser for those who concern for their privacy which enables you to get past censors and to explore the Deep Web. Main Features: Block Trackers: Tor Browser isolates every site you visit to avoid third-party trackers and ads following you. What's more, when you browse, it automatically clear cookies. Defend Against Surveillance: Tor Browser protects you from revealing what websites you are visiting. Those monitoring eyes can only see that you're using Tor. Multi-Layered Encryption: When you use Tor Browser, your traffic is relayed and encrypted three times as it passes over the Tor network. The network is made up of volunteer-run servers known as Tor relays. Search Freely: In the help of Tor Browser, you are free to access websites your local internet service provider may have blocked. More: One of the most concerned questions about Tor is: is it illegal to use? Nope, not in the least. Tor is just a browser and only has advanced capabilities to protect your own identity and activities, which is not illegal by any definition in any country.

How to play

On your Android device, open Google Play. search for the official Tor Browser and install the app.

The official version has the purple onion logo. (The Alpha test version has a green logo; you need the purple stable version.)

After opening the app, tap Connect. The connection process may take a minute or more, depending on your network connection.

Once connected, it's a good idea to test. There are two easy ways to test if your connection is routed through the Tor network.

Type my IP address into the Tor Browser search bar. DuckDuckGo will display the IP address from which the search request originated. You can click on one of the links to find the exact source of the data.

Go to the Hidden Wiki. the Hidden Wiki is a variety of directories on the dark web. It is an onion site, which means that you will not be able to access it unless you have the correct browser configuration.

You are now using the official Android Tor browser correctly.

This is a security setting you should have. The Tor security level slider allows you to adjust your browser's security settings to the following levels.

Standard: All Tor browser and website features are enabled.

Safer: Disable website features that are usually dangerous. This includes JavaScript on non-HTTPS websites, certain fonts and symbols, and all audio and video media that can be clicked to play.

Safest:: Only the required site features site and basic services are allowed for static use. This includes JavaScript, fonts, icons, mathematical symbols and images on all sites. All audio and video media can be played with a single click.

If you want to use the Tor Browser as a daily driver, the standard will allow you to browse clearnet (which is the regular Internet), not dark pages). You may encounter some problems because some sites do not allow you to track.

If you want to increase your privacy, check out the more secure and most secure options. These options make navigating clearnet difficult because of the number of sites that rely on JavaScript for at least some of their development.
