Description

WhatsApp Messenger is an instant messaging mobile application that can be used on Andriod and other smartphones, without having to pay for it, just join it and use it for free. To use WhatsApp Messenger, you need your phone or tablet to be connected to a wireless or mobile network (4G/3G/2G) and once you are connected, you can start messaging and chatting with family and friends. You don't have to pay for each message or call, as it's all free on WhatsApp. (Note that you cannot use WhatsApp to call the emergency services, as it is only a social chat tool)

There are no geographical restrictions on using WhatsApp Messenger, so you can use it to send and receive messages wherever you are, as long as you have an internet connection. Or if you want to chat online with a friend abroad, all you need is an internet connection and you're ready to chat. There's no extra charge for sending messages abroad via WhatsApp. Talk to your friends all over the world and don't pay for international text messages!

With WhatsApp Messenger, you can choose to add contacts to your address book, so you don't have to spend time adding them one by one. And, you'll be online for long periods of time, so you'll always receive the latest messages as long as your device is switched on. You can of course log out when you don't want to be online, in time so that messages you receive while offline will be received when you are logged in, so you won't miss a single message.

WhatsApp Messenger has many more features, such as sending and receiving files, sharing locations, setting custom wallpapers and much more, waiting for you!

How to play

Once you have Joined WhatsApp Messenger, register an account of your own, you can do this with your mobile phone number. If you have tied your Facebook account to your registration, you will have the option to log in with your Facebook account the next time you log in.

If this is your first time using WhatsApp, you can add your contacts after logging in. You will be asked if you want to add a mobile phone contact as a friend to your address book and you can choose yes or no.

Once added, you can chat with your friends! Click on your friend's avatar to bring up a dialog box where you can type in the message you want to send and also send an emoji. If you don't want to type, you can also send voice messages, and in addition to that you can send videos, files and more.

In addition to sending message pictures, WhatsApp also supports voice calls and video calls. Simply tap on a voice or video call with your fingertips to send an invitation to your friend and once your friend receives the invitation and agrees, you can chat face-to-face in real time. As well as chatting with two people, you can create a group and pull the people you want to chat with into the group to enable multiplayer chatting and also multiplayer video, which will be a private chat room for you.

Another interesting and useful feature of WhatsApp is location sharing. This can be useful if you and your friends have agreed to meet in a place but can't find each other. Open your dialogue box, find the shared location, open it and your friend will receive a message that you have been invited to share your location. Once your friend has joined the share, you will be able to see each other's location as a dot and also see each other's exact location. If you move, the dot representing you on the map will also move, so that you can find each other's location very accurately.

Is it a bit of a hassle to send a single message to multiple contacts when it's the holiday season? The group sending feature within WhatsApp will take care of the hassle for you. Pull together the contacts receiving the message and edit a message to send to each one!

WhatsApp also has customised wallpapers and notification ringtones which can be found in the settings, so if that sounds good to you, then Join it with your friends!
