How to play

The game allows cooperative multiplayer for two to four players and is available as an addition to the iOS platform, with voice chat and another new feature - crouch and prone - the first of its kind for any iOS first-person shooter. The first map released is Kino Der Toten. Dead Ops Arcade has also been fully transitioned to the iOS platform with 50 levels, allowing players to choose one of four characters from the console version (Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinsky, Takeshi Masazaki and Dr. Edward Richthofen) to play or as Dead Ops Activision has said it will release more map packs for free in the near future, and has listed Ascension as coming soon in its map selection, after briefly seeing Call of the Dead The name of the Dead was briefly seen after that. Both of these maps have been released.

Kino Der Toten is very similar to its console/PC counterpart, with the difference that its central staircase has been changed to two ramps, which intersect in two directions. All doors, perks and weapons cost the same number of points as on the console/PC.
